Westlake Real Estate
Westlake is located approximately 12 miles west of downtown Cleveland. Originally settled in 1810 as Dover Township, it became Westlake in 1940 when the northern part of the township seceded to form Bay Village and a southern portion left to join North Olmsted. It is home to Crocker Park – an outdoor shopping mall with areas for recreation and socializing. It is based on a small French town-type setting with apartments and offices above some restaurants and stores and some town houses on the southwest corner. It also features an iMAX Movie theatre. Westlake has five parks including Bradley Nature Park which features a sledding hill, a tot playground, a pavilion, picnic tables and grills, a nature trail and restroom facilities.
- Clague House Museum, which was built in 1876, features a history of Westlake
- Clague Playhouse is a community theatre producing five plays per season
- The area has 4 Elementary, 1 Intermediate, 1 Middle and 1 High school. Westlake High school has its own broadcasting system – WHBS-TV
- Population of almost 33,000 per 2010 census
