Olmsted Falls is approx. 20 miles southwest of downtown Cleveland (via I-71 and 480). Step back in time in Grand Pacific Junction historic shopping district which consists of more than thirty unique shops and services set in beautifully restored buildings. You will find some of the same buildings David Stearns, who was the second settler in 1816, wrote about in 1879 when he described the town as having "four general stores, two drug stores, one tailor shop, one broom factory, one felloe (wagon wheel) shop, and one lumber yard." The population that year was 700, with three churches and the Union Schoolhouse. As well as shopping, there are many opportunities to enjoy the local parks and recreational facilities. The Olmsted Falls school system educates students from Olmsted Falls, parts of Columbia Station, part of Berea and from neighboring Olmsted Township.

• Family activities include Bike Night in the Falls, Farmers Markets, Movie Night in the Park, Evening in the Falls, Vintage Marketplace, Heritage Days, and Concerts in the Park during the summer.
• Olmsted Falls is also home to Evergreen Packaging an international packaging company since 1954.
• Schools include Early Childhood Center, Falls-Lenox Primary School, Olmsted Falls Intermediate School, Olmsted Falls Middle School, and Olmsted Falls High School
• Population of just over 9,000 per the 2010 census
